Selected through sole source negotiation to evaluate County-wide EMS system performance including ambulance contractor performance, EMS Medical Direction Systems, First Responder Integration and County Oversight and Staffing and to recommend whether or not to proceed with an RFP for an ambulance contractor. Off and On-site reviews complete. Report adopted unanimously by County Commissioners. Strategic planning session completed.

Status: Recommended that current provider be retained under long term performance contract and that EMS system reorganize to encourage integration of Fire responders. All recommendations adopted and implemented.
