This engagement began in partnership with Health Care Visions.  Selected after a national RFP process to review and redesign the county-wide EMS system. Specific goals include improved efficiency, clinical efficacy, reduced subsidy and strong public-private partnerships.

Status: Recommended establishment of Public Utility Model system design with exclusive countywide market rights through Joint Powers Agreement between County and two Cities. Client is considering RFP process to select operations contractor with probable follow-on engagement to conduct RFP process. Engagement still in progress and shifting to The Polaris Group.
