Awarded contract after national competitive process to develop State required Ambulance Service Area plan for County of 400,000 residents. Process included stakeholder interviews, EMS system financial analysis, education of elected and appointed public policy officials, analysis of first response system, evaluation of medical direction and communications systems. Recommendations adopted unanimously by Board of County Commissioners. Follow-on work included comprehensive EMS System Design, development of ambulance provider RFP including mechanism for integration of Fire First Responders and management of national procurement process.
